Diamond Academy Sports CIC aims to make a difference to the lives of young people in the West Midlands by using the club as a tool to address problems they face in their communities.

Investing knowledge, experience and time to assist in the development of each person, as an athlete and more importantly, as a positive member of society.

To make athletes in all sports including:-
Football
Rugby
Basketball
Cricket
Athletics

Using the power and popularity of sports, starting with football to encourage people to participate in safe, structured and healthy activities that contribute to their educational development and improve their ability to connect with others.

Assist our community to support each other to develop and create opportunities for careers, training, exercise and social interaction.

DIAMOND ACADEMY AT TESCO SPRINGHILL

Local Team, Diamond Academy Sports CIC will be continuning their fundraising, this time at Tesco, West Bromwich on Sunday 5th May 2024 and Sunday 12th May 2024. They will be bag packing and  displaying their amazing ‘Tekkers and Talent’ for all the shoppers and, if you dare, have a go too!!!!

This amazing bunch of young people are fundraising for their End of Season Awards Gala, that also celebrates 15 years of Diamond Academy providing opportunities for young people within sports including Football, Basketball, swimming, Triathlon etc through their football club, holiday sports camps and playschemes, after school club at Holy Trinity school.

Statred by community local, Dean Broomes, 15 years ago, Dean is the Chairman of Diamond Academy and continues to provide opportunities within school in the area for young people interested in Sports Careers and his moto is “From Nothing to Something”,

Division 2 – champions!!!!!!

ON Sunday 5th may 2024 @ 12:30pm – diamond academy u15’s will play their final match of the season, and what a season it has been, as, regardless of the score, this team of amazing and future sporting professionals are the Central warickshire youth football league (CWYFL) 2023/ 2024 Division 2 League Champions.

The U15’s has got a very strong team, and have been top of the Div. 2 in the Central Warwickshire League, weekly sending teams home, beaten, drawing only 2 matches”. 

This team has even got the local school Deputy Head of St. John Wall Catholic School as a fan, with Mr S Holder attending many of their games and supporting the team that has 5 members of St John Wall Catholic School in the winning squad.

The team led by a amazing Coaching Team consiting of experienced Coaches Tafari McCooty, Wes Regis and newly qualified coach and Diamond Academy U21’s player, Jonn-Anthony, have really taken the Central Warickshire League by storm and we cannot wait for what they do next season!!!!!!!!!

END OF SEASON AWARDS GALA

Join us on Saturday 15th June 2024 at the Diamond Academy 15th Year Celebration & End of Season Awards Gala.

All 13 of our teams will be in attendance to celebrate the season of achievements including top goal scorer of the year ……….who will it be ……come along and find out!!!!

To be held at Aston Villa Football Club, a fitting venue for a growing club, that also is the Chairman’s favourite team………a  gala event including 3 course meal, luxury raffles including a mystery holiday for 2, so grab your Early Bird Tickets on Sale throughout February 2024, only 100 available.
